Graffiti Action Challenge 2019

The Graffiti Action Challenge 2019 is a FREE competition open to all Western Australian students in Years 7, 8 and 9.

Students are invited to create and design practical solutions that will help limit graffiti and raise awareness of the important role that every person can play in reducing this type of vandalism and anti-social behaviour in our community.

This program was developed by Crime Stoppers WA in 2015 in consultation with the Department of Education and the WA Police State Graffiti Taskforce.

Schools: participate as a class, a group or individually

Students could enter the Graffiti Action Challenge as an individual participant, as a team (with a maximum of 3 team members) or as a class under the supervision of their teacher. Teachers are encouraged to help their students work out the type of entry that best suits them.

Not just for schools

Better still, this competition isn’t limited to school entries. Students can also enter the competition through youth organisations such as their PCYC, cadet programs, scouts, sporting teams (under the supervision of an adult organiser) – or they can enter independently through a parent. Students who are home schooled in Western Australia are also welcome to participate.
